But when someone asks, “What meaningful progress did we make?” the answer is vague.

Agile teams protect their sprint goals like contracts. They ask hard questions before accepting new work: Does this align with our sprint objective? Can it wait? What happens if we don’t do this now?

Some teams celebrate the number of tickets closed. But closing ten small, low-impact tasks is not the same as delivering one feature that significantly improves user experience.

That question alone reduces noise and sharpens focus.
